Renewed appeal into series of smash and grabs
Gang 'stopped for fuel' during burglaries across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Avon and Somerset

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a series of burglaries across the three counties of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Avon and Somerset.
The incidents happened overnight on Thursday 30 December into Friday 31 December 2021.
No arrests have been made yet following the burglaries.
CCTV of the suspects shows they are all of a stocky build and wearing dark clothing. They had balaclavas pulled over their heads and wore face coverings during the burglaries.
As Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury reported, the gang of burglars targeted the Co-Op convenience store in Downton and the BP Garage at Landford during which cigarettes and tills were stolen.
These were just two burglaries in a string of SIX incidents reported to Police across the three counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Avon and Somerset.
* 0100 hrs - Co-op, Milford-on-sea (HANTS)
* 0135 hrs - One Stop Store, Hythe (HANTS)
* 0255 hrs - Co-op, Frome (A&S)
* 0340 hrs - Co-op Downton (WILTSHIRE)
* 0428 hrs (approx) - Landford petrol station (WILTSHIRE) (Possibly just before 04:28hrs ANPR hit in West Wellow)
* 0514 hrs - Holbury Tool Hire (HANTS)
OFFENDERS STOPPED FOR FUEL
Police sat the offenders were driving a black Audi Q7 (shown in the CCTV picture).
It's also believed they stopped for fuel in Hampshire or Wiltshire somewhere between 11pm on 30 December to 4am the following morning.
Around 3.40am, four men, using a sledgehammer broke into the Downton Co-Op shop on The Borough, and stole cash and cigarettes.
At around 4.20am the same gang struck at Landford, using crowbars to break into the BP Service Station, where they stole cigarettes and other items.
