Renewed appeal following suspicious device left outside Salisbury Law Courts

Wiltshire Police have renewed their appeal following an incident last month where a suspicious device was left outside the Salisbury Law Courts.

Emergency services and a bomb disposal unit were on Wilton Road on August 3rd after an item was left unattended.

It was later was confirmed to be not a viable device.

In the middle of August a teenager was arrested in connection with this incident on suspicion of causing criminal damage and placing an article with intent.

The 17 year old boy has since been released on police bail.

The force are now looking for people who may have been in the area and witnessed something suspicious.

They particularly want to speak to anyone walking or driving along Wilton Road near to the courts and the Medical Centre between 12.30am and 1.30am.
