There's a renewed appeal from Wiltshire Police for 'any little bit of information' into a fatal crash on the A303 near Stonehenge.

An 11 year old boy died at the scene of the crash on Saturday 8th July, while a man in his 40s and a 15 year old boy suffered serious injuries.

The black BMW they were in, travelling westbound from the Countess roundabout, collided with a lorry parked in a layby at around 7.30pm.

The driver of the lorry wasn't hurt.

Investigating officer DC Charlotte Upton of the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) said:

“This was a tragic incident where a young boy has sadly lost his life.

“We are making a renewed appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage from either side of the carriageway at around that time to please get in touch with us.

“If you were travelling through Wiltshire via the A303 that evening, or perhaps heading to Stonehenge, then please check any dash cam footage you have to see if it captured anything which could help us with our investigation.

“Any little bit of information could be vital in helping us piece together what happened.”

If you can help with any details, or footage, you're asked to contact SCIT at Wiltshire Police by calling 01225 694597, quoting log number 289 of July 8th.

You can also email SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk or call 101.
