Long-term residents awaiting forever homes at Salisbury Dogs Trust
Can you give these dogs a place to call home?
Several dogs among Salisbury Dogs Trust’s longest serving residents are looking for their forever homes.
The charity’s centre in Newton Tony can hold up to 100 dogs, but there is a long waiting list of dogs being given up by owners in the Salisbury area.
In many cases, some dogs are quickly and happily rehomed with new families, but there several who have to wait a little longer to find their new homes.
One of those is Ebony, the five-year-old greyhound.
Sadly, she’s lost one of her front legs, but the Trust says that’s not curbed her enthusiasm for life.
There’s also Logan the Siberian Husky, who loves a sing-song car ride.
All of the dogs at the centre have detailed biographies on the Trust’s website, along with information on how to start the rehoming process of a dog.
Earlier this year, the Trust asked for more dog foster carers, to help cope with the ‘unprecedented’ number of animals being given up.
