Pub chain Marston's is planning to cut more than 2,150 jobs.

It's blaming the impact of the Government's new coronavirus restrictions across the UK.

The company has five pubs in South Wiltshire, but it's not clear which of them, if any, will be subject to redundancies.

They are:

  • Avon Brewery, Salisbury
  • Huntsman, Salisbury
  • Bull Hotel, Downton
  • Pelican, Stapleford
  • Orchard, Amesbury

The company have around 14,000 people working for them in their pubs, hotels and breweries.

They work across 1,385 sites across the UK.

It's not been confirmed where the redundancies will take place or when they will be announced.
