Woman injured during racially aggravated assault in Salisbury

Police keen to speak to good samaritan who intervened

Wiltshire Police are investigating a racially aggravated assault in Salisbury which left a woman in her 40s injured

The force say the victim was targeted outside Chick-O-Land around12.20 am on Saturday September 25th by another woman.

She sustained an injury to her knee and during the assault, she was racially assaulted.

A member of the public went to her help and officers are trying to track him down.

The assault happened outside Chick-O-Land on New Canal.

In a statement the force said;

"We believe we have identified the woman responsible, and enquiries are currently ongoing.

We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, including a man who intervened to help the woman during the assault.
