Companies in Salisbury and South Wiltshire have been testing the grey matter, to raise money for Salisbury Hospice.

The charity's first Corporate Quiz Night has been held at the Arts Centre, organised by them directly, off the back the previous Sarum Rotary Quiz.

Over 15 businesses took part in 8 question rounds, with topics including film & TV, music, general knowledge and even an “Impossible!” round.

A charity auction has also been held as part of the night, with the event raising £5,000 for the Hospice.

The event has brought over £5,000 in for the charity, which has to raise £1.5 million each year to keep services running

Louise Compton, Corporate Fundraiser said:

“It was such a fantastic evening, which was enjoyed by all. We are thrilled, the event raised such a large amount for Salisbury Hospice.

"I would like to thank everyone for their support, donations and attendance on this fabulous evening. We look forward to planning next year’s Corporate Gala Quiz!”
