One of Salisbury's oldest businesses has had to temporarily shut it's doors after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

Pritchetts Butchers is set to reopen next Monday (11th January), after the result came in last week.

The family run business announced the news on their social media:

"Due to one member of staff testing positive for covid last week, we will now be closed until Monday 11th of January.

Thank you for all the kind caring comments we have received, we must add the staff member is well and showing no serious symptoms, but obviously following the correct procedure we have to remain closed until the correct isolation period has passed.

We look forward to seeing you all soon, please take care of yourselves.

Mark, Charlie & the team at Pritchetts Family Butchers"

The shop has been serving the community of Salisbury for over 150 years.
