Prime Minister visits Tidworth troops in Estonia

Soldiers from the Kings Royal Hussars are in Eastern Europe

Some Tidworth based troops have been meeting the Prime Minister during their operations in Estonia.

Rishi Sunak spent some time with the Kings Royal Hussars this week (Monday 19th December).

The PM spoke with soldiers about their work and even served them up a Christmas dinner!

Mr Sunak has been in Estonia for meetings with the Joint Expeditionary Force member nations.

The coalition works to bolster 'security and stability' in the North Atlantic and Baltic Sea regions - alongside NATO.

The Kings Royal Hussars have been in the area for a while now, training in cold weather conditions.

They've been getting to grips with driving on ice and snow, vehicle maintenance and simply learning methods to keep themselves warm!

British troops have also been working with local soldiers to help them prepare for possible escalations of Russia's war with Ukraine.
