Salisbury's Primark and Deichmann stores moving ever closer
Both units in the Old George have 'coming soon' signage up
Two new major retailers for Salisbury are showing signs of getting ever closer to opening.
The eagerly-anticipated Primark store, and the long-promised Deichmann branch, both in the Old George Mall, now have 'coming soon' branding outside.
Recruitment for the shops has also begun, with both chains looking for staff.
Primark has told Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury that they're expecting to create 100 jobs for the city.
Shoe retailer Deichmann estimate they'll have 12 to 15 roles in store.
When will they open?
There's not that long to wait for Deichmann now - they've told us they plan to open on Wednesday 24th May in the former Topshop units.
Primark's a little more up in the air though.
They've said there's 'nothing further to share' on the store in the old BHS space, but they'd previously said 'Summer 2023' was their target for opening.
