A Pride flag has been 'damaged beyond repair' after being pulled down from outside a house in Amesbury - across two incidents.

The first happened at some point between 10.15 and 10.50pm on Friday 30th June, on Mill Green Road.

Wiltshire Police tell us it's thought two young men were involved in removing the flag.

Another incident happened at around 5.40pm on Tuesday 4th July at the same address.

It's reported a group of teenagers tried to take down the flag, before being disturbed by the occupier.

They were shouted at as the group left the area.

Officers are now investigating the incidents as criminal damage and possible hate crimes - with house to house enquiries having been carried out.

Anyone who witnessed what happened, or might have dashcam footage, is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 54230070451.
