Police in Amesbury are responding to a rise in rogue trader/cold calls in the Stockbarrow and Haywain area of the town.

Reports were made to officers on 31st May and the Neighbourhood policing team have been conducting follow up work.

They've visited over 60 homes to carry out Crime Prevention work by handing out door stickers and leaflets to residents.

Luckily, the rogue traders failed to secure any work on this occasion and officers managed to gain intelligence to share with the Wiltshire Council Trading Standards team.
