Police have been speaking to parents and carers outside Larkhill Primary School, following concerns raised about problem parking.

Officers from Amesbury's Community Policing Team visited the Wilson Road site on Friday morning (23rd June).

They've said some mums and dads were spoke to about keeping the zig zag lines outside clear of traffic.

There's a reminder that those lines are in place to prevent stopping outside schools, for the safety of those using the area, especially children.

They also carried out patrols in the Fargo Road area in Larkhill.

That followed reports of people driving across grass as a short-cut.

No drivers were found there during the police presence, but officers say it is against the law to drive anywhere other than a road, and can lead to a ticket and fixed penalty fee.
