The incident happened on March 20th, when a teenage girl was sat on a bench waiting for a bus on Endless Street.

She was approached by an older white man who is around 6’0” tall with grey hair and glasses. He was wearing a black jacket and a cap and spoke with an English accent.

The man sat on the bench and started to make lewd comments towards the victim. He then slid across and began to touch himself inappropriately.

He told her that when she got on the bus, she had to sit next to him.

When the bus arrived, the victim told the bus driver what had happened. They said they’d look out for her and to call the police when she got home.

A Spokesperson from Wiltshire Police told Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury:

"Nobody should be in a position where they’re too scared to leave the house on their own and that’s why we’re looking for your help following an incident in Salisbury.

"This experience has had a devastating effect on the victim who is now afraid to go out on her own, especially at night."
