Police appeal after hate crime at Salisbury takeaway

A man in his 30s has been arrested following a suspected hate crime incident at a Salisbury takeaway.

The arrest was made on suspicion of four offences, which were: racially/religiously aggravated harassment, threats to kill, assault of an emergency worker and using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at Chick-O-Land on New Canal Street around 2am on July 20th.

The man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
