PM hopeful Rishi Sunak watched England win the Women's Euros in a Salisbury pub!

The former chancellor watched the Lionesses beat Germany 2-1 in the Bishops Mill with the city's MP, John Glen.

He was also joined by local Conservative Councillors including the Tory party leader at Salisbury City Council, Charles McGrath.

Mr Sunak has been touring the country ahead of the new Tory leader being chosen and it's understood that prior to the match he was in Devizes to speak to Conservative members.

Salisbury's MP has given his backing to Mr Sunak maintaining he 'will make the case for a return to responsive and responsible government."
