Will anymore be laid?

Author: Jack DeeryPublished 24th Mar 2022

Earlier this afternoon, the peregrine falcons at Salisbury Cathedral completed the hat-trick by laying a third egg.

It appeared in the nest box at the bottom of the spire at around 2:20pm.

The birds at the cathedral tend to lay three to four eggs, so only time will tell whether another one will appear.

Once all have been laid, the incubation period will begin which will see the female barely move.

Las year all four hatched successfully.

You can keep an eye on the birds via the live stream cameras on the cathedral's website.

On April 1st, the soon-to-be parents will be named, with people able to submit their own suggestions.
