Peregrines seen courting on Salisbury Cathedral tower

Could another clutch of eggs be on the way?

Two Peregrine Falcons have been spotted courting at Salisbury Cathedral.

The pair were seen on the spire tower on the nest box livestream.

It's thought it could be the pair who've nested in the city over the last few years, but experts are unable to confirm it as they're not ringed.

Chicks born in Salisbury have been given identification rings with Peregrine's who've fledged from the Cathedral known to have nested in other parts of the UK.

Last year saw three chicks hatch and it's hoped a new clutch of eggs is just around the corner.
