A man has died after a tragic incident on the A345 near Woodhenge.

At around 12.20am this morning (Sunday 13 Nov), a van travelling northbound on the A345 collided with a pedestrian.

Sadly, the victim, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.

Wiltshire Police say a man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving whilst disqualified. He was taken to custody in Melksham and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
