Pedestrian hit by a car in Salisbury

A man in his 50's has been taken to hospital

A man has been hit by a car in Salisbury.

At around 7pm, police received a report that a car and a pedestrian were involved in a collision in the Aldi car park on London Road.

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-changing and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said:

"We are appealing for anybody who witnessed the incident to please get in touch.

"We are particularly interested in speaking to the occupants of two other vehicles that stopped at the scene to help."
