No Covid-19 patients at Salisbury District Hospital for first time in over 6 months

They are warning that people could be admitted at any time though

For the first time since September 30th 2020, Salisbury District Hospital have confirmed that there are no in-patients with Covid-19.

The figure was reported as of 8:15am this morning (Wednesday 7th April).

They are warning that this does not mean they are completely Covid free and they could have new admissions at anytime.

People are being urged to continue following all the guidance to ensure the number stays at zero.

There have been 211 fatalities at the hospital since the pandemic started, with the last being reported on the 29th March.

LATEST CASE FIGURES

In the seven days to 1st April, there have been 109 positive cases in Wiltshire.

That's a decrease of 29 on the previous week.

This means the county's rolling rate per 100,000 population is at 21.8.

The national average is 41.
