Police investigate 'ninja acting suspiciously' in Salisbury Cathedral Close
Officers were called out last night (Monday 25th January)
Wiltshire Police were alerted at around 8.30pm yesterday, after reports of a man seen acting suspiciously near to Salisbury Cathedral.
He was believed to have been dressed in a karate suit and wearing a white Covid mask.
Officers spoke to the man about the concerns raised.
He was then detained under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act.
He's been taken to a place of safety with no further police action against him.
