Pocket guide to New Forest services published by District Council
They've called it a 'handy go-to resource' for residents
A new pocket-sized guide has been put together by New Forest District Council (NFDC) to highlight local services.
The booklet includes essential contact information and explains who does what in the New Forest - to clarify the roles of NFDC, Hampshire County Council, and town and parish councils.
It also includes the authority's priorities and goals for the next four years, along with facts and figures about the New Forest area and council services.
It comes as NFDC marks its 50th anniversary during 2024.
Leader Cllr Jill Cleary, said:
“We hope our pocket guide will become a handy go-to resource for residents. Not only does it provide quick access to important contact information, it also gives people a better understanding of the work we’re doing to serve the New Forest community. I would encourage everyone to pick up a free copy from our information offices and keep it handy.”
The free guide is available from New Forest District Council information offices.
