New toy store opens in Salisbury just in time for Christmas
They started welcoming customers from Monday (7th December)
A branch of Sonner Toys has opened in Salisbury, just in time for Christmas.
They're situated in the Old George Mall, replacing the old Pandora shop.
It's just the company's second store, with it's first branch in Portsmouth.
Selling toys and collectibles, the shop say they are "looking forward to meeting the lovely geek community of Salisbury".
A spokesperson said:
"While facing a very uncertain time this year, we always took it upon ourselves to put safety before all else. We had to close our store in Portsmouth twice now and push back our opening date for Salisbury, but that does not mean we stopped as a business, we shifted our focus onto our website and continued to provide our highest quality service. We made sure not to view anything in a negative light, only an opportunity to rise to the challenge. It was just a challenge we adapted to, and we continued to deliver.
Now that lockdown has lifted, we are so happy and proud to finally open our new store in Salisbury, and have taken all the precautions to ensure our customers and our colleague’s safety. We want our store to be the place that you come to for anything geek related. We are keeping up stunning displays and make sure that it feels like a place you could escape too, safely.
At times, we all need a place to escape to, and we know how important the art of films, comics, games, tv and other forms of pop culture are. Sometimes we need a distraction from life, and that is what Sonner Toys aims to be."
