Wiltshire Police continues to grow as a fresh cohort of police constables are now ready to start serving their community.

The group of 27 celebrated passing the training programme at a ceremony attended by friends and family.

Deputy Chief Constable Paul Mills QPM said the officers displayed exceptional resilience and dedication during their training.

“As they embark on their careers, I am confident that they will continue to uphold the values of our force and contribute to the safety and well-being of our community.”

The new officers reflect the communities diversity, which Wiltshire Police see as an asset, enhancing the forces effectiveness in responding to the needs of different neighbourhoods in the county.

Although the main training programme has been completed, the officers will continue to be mentored by experienced colleagues. This will allow them to integrate themselves into the real-world demands of policing.
