A new coffee shop's opened in Salisbury city centre from today (Friday 4th November).

Coffee #1 has set up in the former Lloyds Pharmacy branch in Oatmeal Row, facing the Market Place.

The company's part of a large chain, with Salisbury's being their 106th store across the country.

It's part of the Caffé Nero group, but runs as an independent brand.

In a statement, they've told us:

"We're so excited to be opening our newest coffee shop in Salisbury. We're looking forward to being part of our new community and meeting some new faces.

"Coffee is very important to us, our team are trained to a high level to serve the quality coffee we love. We also have a bunch of delicious treats, pastries and savoury items for you to try.

"All of our coffee shops have cosy chairs and spaces which are perfect for meeting friends family or to enjoy by yourself with a good book.

"We're sure the Salisbury community will bring a warm and cosy atmosphere into our new coffee shop, we can't wait to get going."
