A new and vibrant mural's been added to the decorations at Salisbury's Arts Centre.

Local artist Michele Milledge was commissioned by Wiltshire Creative to create the piece, which is dedicated to the range of events that take place at the Bedwin Street venue.

She's the same artist that's also responsible for all the paintings on shop windows around the city centre.

The mural can now be seen in the foyer of Salisbury Arts Centre

It took 11 days to complete, with Michele getting help from plenty of volunteers.

They included her friends and family, Salisbury City Council Youth Groups, the Mind the Gap over 60s group, Wiltshire Creative Young Ambassadors, as well as Arts Centre staff.

Volunteers helped to create the stunning mural, over 11 days of hard work

The artwork's also been finished in time for the start of Salisbury's International Arts Festival, which kicks off on May 26th.
