Motorcyclist from Wiltshire dies in crash on motorway in Staffordshire

A Wiltshire man has died after his motorcycle collided with a car on the M6 in Staffordshire.

Emergency Services were called to the northbound carriageway of the M6 near Keele Services, between junctions 15 and 16 at 12.20pm on Monday (5th September).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said;

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical staff, the motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man from the Wiltshire area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Specialist officers are supporting the man’s family at this difficult time."

An investigation has been launched an police are appealing for witnesses.
