Road users in Salisbury are set for more disruption as essential gas works are to take place on another major route into the city.

From Monday 4th March, gas works will be carried out on Devizes Road at the Bedford Road junction, lasting three weeks.

Temporary traffic lights will be put in place by Gas company SGN to keep everyone safe and they'll be controlled during peak times to minimise disruption as much as possible.

It's to allow the gas network to be upgraded allowing households to receive a safe and consistent supply.

The old metal gas mains will be replaced with new plastic pipes.
