Man and son assaulted in Salisbury's Market Walk
Police say the attack was 'unprovoked'
A man and his son have been assaulted in Salisbury's Market Walk, with police describing it as an unprovoked attack.
The pair were spat at and kicked by an unknown male at around 6.10pm last Monday evening (23rd January).
It's reported that other members of the public were also intimidated during the incident, and they called police.
A CCTV image from the walkway past the library has been released by Wiltshire Police.
They're trying to identify the man pictured saying they 'believe he may be able to help with enquiries'.
PC Hannah Cranham said:
“This was a completely unprovoked attack and is unacceptable for members of public to be subjected to this type of behaviour."
