Man sentenced after admitting three offences following Durrington brawl

Police were called to reports of two men fighting in Primrose Place

A South Wiltshire man has been sentenced after admitting to three offences following a fight in Durrington.

37-year-old Lee Warlow of Elliott Green, Winterbourne Gunner, fled with a large wooden pole when police when they were called to reports of two men fighting in Primrose Place on Tuesday 25th March.

He attempted to hide in a nearby garden and when officers found him, they discovered he'd entered an outbuilding and stolen a coat from inside.

Whilst being removed from the garden, Warlow threatened to smash the windows of a neighbouring property.

Warlow admitted to to possession of an offensive weapon, threats to commit criminal damage and non-dwelling burglary.

He's been sentenced to a two-year community order, 30 days rehabilitation, and 225 hours of unpaid work.
