Man robbed of partner's handbag in Salisbury city centre

A man's been robbed of his partner's handbag while walking in Salisbury city centre.

The victim was on Cranebridge Road at around 1.00am on Saturday (28th January) when two men approached him and pushed him against the bridge.

They ran away with the handbag.

One man, from Salisbury, has since been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail.

Police have been carrying out house to house enquiries following the incident.

They're also now calling on any drivers who were in the area to pass on dash cam footage to officers, and local businesses are asked to check their CCTV.
