APPEAL: Man punched in the head and hit by car during road rage incident in Wilton

Wiltshire Police are asking for the public's help in trying to find a suspect in a connection with an assault where a man was punched in his head and drove a car at him during a road rage incident in Wilton.

It happened on the 11th June at around 3pm on Wishford Road.

The incident broke out when the suspect, a man, got into an argument with the passenger of another car.

The passenger had confronted the man about his driving and the man is then said to have got out of his car and punched him in the head, causing him to fall to the floor.

The man then got back into his car and drove it at the victim, hitting him on the hip.

The man is described as being white, bald and in his mid-40s to early 50s. He was wearing a pink and blue striped shirt with blue jeans.
