Man pleads guilty after crashing into Poultry Cross in Salisbury

He will be sentenced next month

A man who caused damage to the Poultry Cross in Salisbury after crashing into it during a police chase has pleaded guilty to all driving offences.

Brandon Hamblin, of Church Street in Southampton, had been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to stop for police and criminal damage.

The 20 year old collided with the monument in the early hours on the 21st of May.

He was arrested at the scene.

The monument is currently being repaired

He'll be sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates Court on the 11th July.

The Poultry Cross, which is owned by Salisbury City Council, is currently being repaired after the incident.
