A man has been jailed for more than two years for being involved in the supply of drugs in Salisbury.

Ismael Correia, 20, of Haslemere Avenue, Hounslow, was sentenced to a total of 26 months.

He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession of a zombie style knife and breaching his suspended sentence.

Officers attended the address of a known vulnerable drug user in Salisbury on November 30th last year following concerns related to ongoing drug dealing at the address.

Inside the property, officers located Correia and he was arrested after he was found in possession of class A drugs, cash, knife and a mobile phone with evidence of drug supply on it.

Det Sgt Dave Hambly said:

“We are committed to targeting drug dealers who travel into our county and exploit vulnerable drug users within our communities, often with violence and the use of weapons.

"This offending will not go unnoticed and these people will be identified and put before the courts.”
