Man and dogs rescued from Redlynch house fire
The fire service and police are now investigating the cause
A man and two dogs have been helped to safety following a house fire in Redlynch.
Crews from Salisbury and Wilton, along with support from Fordingbridge and Southampton St Mary's engines, were called to Bowers Hill at around 7.50pm last night (Wednesday 30th October).
The ground floor of the house was affected by the blaze.
The man was left in the care of ambulance staff.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 12.45am today (Thursday 31st October).
We're told a joint investigation by Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue, with Wiltshire Police, is now underway into the cause of the fire.
