Man charged with murder following death of Salisbury's Freddie Fontete-Jones

A man has had his charge upgraded to murder following the death of Freddie Fontete-Jones from Salisbury.

Connor Pool, 24, of Salt Lane in Winterbourne Gunner, appeared at Winchester Crown Court today (Monday 4th April).

He was originally charged with Section 18 GBH after the assault in New Canal which left Freddie with serious injuries.

Freddie died in hospital, two days after the incident

He died a few days later.

Pool pleaded not guilty to murder and will next appear at court for a case management hearing on June 10th with a provisional trial date on October 31st.
