A man who was caught over the drink drive limit in Salisbury last year has been banned from the roads for 12 months.

Christian Hobday, 26 from Andover, pleaded guilty to drink driving last week.

On the 12th September 2020, Hobday was stopped by officers on Friary Street when he was driving his BMW.

He was asked to carry out a breath test, which showed 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit in England is 35.

He has been disqualified from driving for 1 year, fined more than £230 but can have his ban reduced if he completes a driving course.
