Man knocked unconscious outside Salisbury Wetherspoons

Another man's believed to have been involved on Friday night (6th December)

A man's been knocked unconscious during an assault in Salisbury city centre.

The victim was outside the King's Head Wetherspoons on Bridge Street when it happened at around 11.00pm on Friday night (6th December).

Another man attacked him and then walked away in the direction of Silver Street and past St Thomas's Church.

Members of the public and door staff helped the victim, who needed hospital treatment.

The suspect involved is described as:

  • White male
  • Irish accent
  • Around five feet ten inches tall
  • Chunky build
  • Wearing jeans
  • Grey hoodie
  • Grey puffer gilet

Police are now asking any further witnesses to come forward with information.
