Man assaulted in Salisbury restaurant toilets

A man has been assaulted in the toilets of a Salisbury restaurant after he jokingly tapped someone on the shoulder.

The victim entered the toilets of the Shah Jahan restaurant at around 10:40pm on August 5th.

When he entered, he says he jokingly tapped a man on the shoulder who was standing at the urinal.

The man left but came back moments later and assaulted him, causing injuries to his face and head.

The suspect then left the restaurant with another man and two women.

Police are now hoping the public might be able to help with their enquiries.
