Man in his 70s assaulted in Durrington

It's believed three young men in their late teens or early 20s were involved

A man in his 70s has been assaulted in Durrington - and needed hospital treatment.

The attack happened on Larkhill Road at around 9.20pm on Saturday night (1st April).

The victim's believed to have been approached from behind by three young men aged in their late teens or early 20s.

He was punched to the ground and was taken to hospital as a precaution with suspected concussion.

There's a limited description of the offenders from the victim:

  • One was wearing a black jacket
  • One was wearing a grey jacket
  • One was seen with an electric scooter

There's an appeal from Wiltshire Police for anyone who might have seen what happened, or has any information, to contact officers.

Officers are particularly looking for any CCTV or dashcam footage from the incident.
