Man arrested after 'knife threat' reports in Salisbury shop car park

A man has been arrested after reports of a man being threatened with a knife in Salisbury.

An 18-year-old man was reportedly threatened by a man with a knife in the car park of Tesco Express on Wilton Road.

We're told it happened at around 1.15pm on June 9th, but details have only just been released.

A man in his 30s from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

He's since been released on bail as officers continue their enquiries.

There's an ongoing appeal for any witnesses to come forward and speak to officers.
