Wiltshire's Longleat Sky Safari paused last night (Sat 10 September) to remember HM Queen Elizabeth II and her many years of service. The hot air balloon show also had a much more 'sombre' display than originally planned.

The evening night glow, which takes place again this evening, incorporated classical music rather than pop, an in addition the loud speakers played messages to the crowd about The Queen and her reign.

There was applause after the display finished and the National Anthem played.

More than 100 hot air balloons are involved in the three day Sky Safari, including Longleat's popular Lion, Penguin and Koala.

This year is the first where there will be a third 'night glow' tonight (Sunday) in which tethered balloons fire-up their burners in time to a musical soundtrack.
