Wiltshire Council is going to be holding a live Covid-19 update tonight (Wednesday 6th January) at 7pm.

It will see Council Leader Phillip Whitehead, Chief Executive Terence Herbert and Public Health Director Kate Blackburn discuss and talk about the new restrictions.

They will be providing an update on the national lockdown, which was announced earlier this week.

They are also going to talk about the services Wiltshire Council provides, and the work they are doing, to support businesses and residents throughout the pandemic.

It's the third time the local authority have held this kind of event, but previously questions could be submitted ahead of the time.

For tonight, the public can post questions while the briefing is going on.

It takes place on Microsoft Teams at 7pm and you can watch it by clicking here.

If you are unable to watch the address at the time it's on, it will be recorded and posted to the Wiltshire Council Youtube page shortly afterwards.
