South Wiltshire football club targeted by burglars

Groundskeeping equipment's been stolen from Laverstock & Ford FC

A South Wiltshire football club has been burgled, with groundskeeping equipment taken.

The Laverstock and Ford Sports Club was broken into at around 3.00am on Friday last week (9th February).

A padlock was broken open at the Church Road site for thieves to get in.

A green Parkway 2250 Plus ride-on mower and hedge strimmers were taken.

Wiltshire Police are now investigating, with an appeal for any witnesses who noticed suspicious activity to come forward.

They're especially looking for home CCTV or dash cam footage that could help with enquiries.
