Larkhill schoolboy 'absolutely smashes' Three Peaks climbs
Harry Byrne, aged 9, has been supporting two local children's hospices
A nine year old Larkhill boy has battled through Storm Babet to complete the UK's Three Peaks for two local children's hospices.
Harry Byrne took on the mountains with his dad, in memory of his little brother Reuben.
The family's been raising money for Julia's House and Naomi House over the last few years, as a thank you for the care they provided during Reuben's life-limiting illness.
Harry says he was 'extremely nervous but excited' before his challenge, but his mum Sophie's told us 'he reminded himself of what he's already been through and took strength from those experiences'.
The Byrne family is edging ever closer to the £100,000 fundraising mark for the children's hospices. https://www.justgiving.com/team/Mountaintrekkes?fbclid=PAAaZmS5kXet8lPeCV7U3UqIOC_Ufo88YEQIBkvw5K9pGLGy7stvIjY3JnSJM
Harry's explained why he wants to help Julia's House and Naomi House:
"I want to raise lots of money for the hospices because they looked after Reuben and I want them to help care for other people."
