Bronze for Larkhill gunner at Tokyo 2020
Boxer, Karriss Artingstall, adds to Team GB's increasing medal tally

Larkhill based Army Gunner, and Olympic Boxer Karriss Artingstall has won bronze at Tokyo 2020.
Karriss, also known as 'The Bomber' began competitive boxing at the age of 16. After joining the British Army at 18 she had two years away from the sport.
But Karriss returned to boxing and began competing for the British Army.
She was guaranteed a medal in Tokyo after reaching the semis in the Women's featherweight class.
The 26 year old was defeated in a split decision against the home favourite Japanese fighter Sena Irie in the semifinal today (Sat 31 July 2021) but still reaches the podium.
She's already set her sights on making it to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
