Labrador attacked by dogs in Salisbury

Its owners were left with a huge vets bill

A Labrador has been injured during an attack by two other dogs at a popular walking spot in Salisbury.

A woman in her 50s was walking her dog at Castle Hill Country Park at around 8.30pm last Tuesday night (10th May).

The Lab was set upon by two other dogs, believed to by American Bulldogs, and suffered injuries which led to a £2,500 bill from the vets.

A description's been issued by police of the owner of the other dogs:

  • White
  • Aged in her 30s
  • Around 5 feet tall
  • Blonde shoulder length hair

Police are now asking any witnesses to the attack to come forward - by calling 101 and quoting reference number 54220049949.
