'Enjoy yourself safely and respect others' - plea from Wiltshire Police this Jubilee weekend
There's advice from officers ahead of the Bank Holiday
As we gear up for a four day weekend, filled with fun and celebrations to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, we're asked to take it steady and stay safe.
Wiltshire Police say it's set to be an 'exciting few days for all' but are calling on us to be sensible and reminded us of the dangers of drink driving.
In a statement, they've said:
"The Platinum Jubilee bank holiday will be an exciting few days for all, packed with many celebrations and events to mark Her Majesty The Queen's 70 years on the throne.
"We know that many people will be attending street parties and other events over the course of the long weekend. We want everyone to enjoy themselves safely and to respect others, including our own officers, staff and specials, who will be out and about in your communities across the long weekend.
"If you're planning on drinking, please don't drink and drive. Arrange suitable travel home in advance, and remember you may still be affected by alcohol the next day too.
"As always, we are here if you need us. You can report a crime via our website or by calling 101. If it's an emergency, always dial 999."
