John Glen re-elected as Conservative MP for Salisbury

He's held the seat for 14 years

John Glen has been re-elected as Salisbury MP for the Conservatives for the fifth time.

However his majority has dropped by 15,000.

The votes were as follows:

Labour: 13303 Matt Aldridge

Lib Dem: 11825 Victoria Charleston

Conservative: 17110 John Glen

Climate Party: 127 Chris Harwood

Reform UK: 5235 Julian Malins

Green Party: 2115 Barney Norris

Independent: 458 King Arthur Pendragon

Across South Wiltshire the blue wall has held on.

Danny Kruger has retained his Conservative position in parliament - this time under the newly formed East Wiltshire constituency.

The Test Valley's Caroline Nokes and Kit Malthouse, Desmond Swayne in the New Forest and Andrew Murrison in South West Wiltshire all remain MPs.
